 - Green berries ripen to reddish-purple
 - Sweet, tangy fruit is very good for fresh eating when berry is red/burgundy (has raspberry/grape flavour)
 - Also great for jelly, jam & pie
 - Fruit ripens in late July
 - Self-fertile, will produce more fruit with a pollinator
 - Green leaves turn a pleasant yellow in the fall
 - Caution: thorny branches
 - Produces fruit approximately 2-3 years after planting
 - Plant pollinators within 200’ or less, closer is better
