Description
The Ohio Buckeye is an ornamental chestnut tree that leafs out early in May, blooms cream green flowers, and bears inedible nuts in prickly husks.
These nuts are a favourite with squirrels, and when shelled, they are very decorative.
The leaves grow out in star pattern of 5 to 7 leaflets, and turn gold, orange, or red in the fall.
