- Produces small, tart edible red fruit; more acidic than romance series from Saskatoon university
- Deep green leaves turn gold to red in fall
- Very cold tolerant and native
- Does not tolerate soggy soil
- Medium Growth Rate: 10-15”/year
- Produces fruit approximately 2 years after planting
- Self fertile; can produce more fruit with a pollinator (another Pincherry, Sand Cherry or Native Plum)
- No currently known disease/pest issues
