- Fruit ripens in late August; stores for 2 weeks in refrigerator
- Needs cross pollination to produce fruit. Could be either DIFFERENT apple variety or flowering crabapple
- Plant pollinators within 200’ or less, closer is better
- All apples grow best in a wind-sheltered area
- Needs a sunny, well-drained location
