Plum "Brookred"
Prunus x 'Brookred'
This variety produces 3-4 cm dark red fruit good for fresh eating or processing. Scented, beautiful white flowers bloom in spring and leaves turn orange-red in the fall.

•Another plum variety (like Pembina Plum) is needed for pollination
•Fruit ripens mid to late August and do not store well.

Plum, "Pembina"
Prunus x 'Pembina'
Pembina has large beautiful scented white flowers in spring, and the leaves turn orange red in the fall. It produces 2” diameter, dark red fruit that have firm skin and sweet yellow flesh. The tree is very hardy and productive. Fruit ripen mid- to late-August and are good for fresh eating or processing.

Plant Care: 
•Requires two different plum or sand cherry varieties for pollination; Brookred Plum is a good partner
•Pembina Plums do not store well, so need to be eaten or processed shortly after harvest

Plum, "Queen of Hearts"
Large red fruit, similar to Pembina. Recently rediscovered in Manitoba. White blooms and orangey fall colour. Hardy and attracts bees.
