This Manchurian apricot variety blooms several days later than other types, it may still fruit only 1 year out of 3. Late spring frosts can damage the flowers. Fruit is golden-coloured, tasty, and 3 - 4 cm in diameter. Fall colour is "apricot".

Cherry "Carmine Jewel" Standard
Prunus x kerrasis 'SK Carmine Jewel'
The 2 cm dark skinned fruit are great for pie or jam. This is a very hardy and self-pollinating cherry. This cherry has been trained into an upright habit, and is an excellent ornamental small tree. It flowers heavily in spring, and glossy green leaves are attractive all summer long, turning yellow in the fall.

Juliet's 1" fruit is dark red, semi-sweet and great to eat fresh, baked, or canned. Glossy ornamental leaves sport white flowers in spring and yellow fall colour. This is a hardy plant that is also self-pollinating, more vigorous than Crimson Passion and has few suckers.

Pear, "Early Gold"
Pyrus x 'Jefgold'
This is the hardiest edible pear for the prairies and it produces two inch fruit that ripens mid-September. It is a seedling of Ure Pear, but is hardier and tolerates alkalinity slightly better, and ripens 10-14 days earlier.

Plant Care: 
•Pears do not ripen on the tree so pick the fruit before a damaging frost
•You will want to process or eat the fruit soon after they are ripe as they do not store well

•Grows best in a wind-sheltered area

Plum "Brookgold"
Prunus x 'Brookgold'
This 3-4 cm plum has golden yellow flesh, is free stone, and has a tender skin. In spring the flowers are white and scented. They ripen a little earlier than other plums, around mid-August, and are good eating fresh or for processing. The Fall leaf colour is orange.
