Spirea, "Froebelli"

Spiraea x bumalda 'Froebelli'

A vigorously growing shrub with dark green leaves, and is covered with flat clusters of dark pink flowers for summer and fall. Its growth rate is 6-10” per year.

•Prefers a well drained and full sun area; leaves and flowers will be less vibrant if grown in part shade

Spiraea betulifolia ''Tor Gold'

This compact bloomer's leaves are golden to lime-green, with small clusters of white flowers blooming in June. Its leaves will turn golden to red in the fall. A hardy contrast plant.

Spiraea nipponica 'Halward's Silver'

This round-shaped spirea is similar to Bridal’s Wreath or Snow White but dwarf in size. Clusters of white flowers bloom against dark green leaves for a couple of weeks in June. Growth rate is 6-10” per year.

Spring foliage colour is yellow to light green with red tips. Pink blooms cover the bush through the growing season, with beautiful fall foliage colour of bronze to russet. A colourful little gem for any yard.

Spiraea japonica 'Shirobana'

Shirobana is a unique spirea, with pink, white and dark pink flowers on the shrub all at the same time. It blooms from late June until mid July, and its green leaves turn orange-burgundy in fall.

Snow White is a heavy bloomer, producing pure white flowers in June on arching fountain-like branches. Leaves are dark green through spring and supper and turn slightly purple in fall. Growth rate is 6" - 10” per year.

Viburnum, "Snowball"

Viburnum opulus 'Sterile'

Snowball grows green maple-shaped leaves with large showy white flowers that look like snowballs. Flowers bloom in late May to early June, and do not produce fruit or seeds. Grows best in a well sheltered sunny area. Pruning is best done when all the flowers have finished blooming. An average growth rate of 1.5' a year.
