This compact bloomer's leaves are golden to lime-green, with small clusters of white flowers blooming in June. Its leaves will turn golden to red in the fall. A hardy contrast plant.

Spiraea nipponica 'Halward's Silver'
This round-shaped spirea is similar to Bridal’s Wreath or Snow White but dwarf in size. Clusters of white flowers bloom against dark green leaves for a couple of weeks in June. Growth rate is 6-10” per year.

Shirobana is a unique spirea, with pink, white and dark pink flowers on the shrub all at the same time. It blooms from late June until mid July, and its green leaves turn orange-burgundy in fall.

Viburnum, "Snowball"
Viburnum opulus 'Sterile'
Snowball grows green maple-shaped leaves with large showy white flowers that look like snowballs. Flowers bloom in late May to early June, and do not produce fruit or seeds. Grows best in a well sheltered sunny area. Pruning is best done when all the flowers have finished blooming. An average growth rate of 1.5' a year.
