Spiraea betulifolia
Birch Leaf spirea is a hardy, compact shrub with loads of white flowers in June, and its solid green leaves turn orange-burgundy in fall. Easy to maintain, with moderate water needs.

Spiraea vanhouttei
The hardiest of the tall white spireas. Arching branches are covered with white flowers for a couple of weeks in early June, leaves will turn orange/red in the fall. Growth rate is 6-10” per year. .

Spirea, "Dakota Gold Charm"
Spiraea japonica 'Mertyann'
The shrub has bright gold foliage and is covered with bright pink flowers for summer and fall. Fall color is pinkish red. Foliage is thicker and fuller than other gold varieties, and growth rate is 6-10” per year.

Spirea, "False Sem"
Sorbaria x 'Sem'
This is the dwarf version of False Spirea. It has a very fern-like appearance with white plume-like flowers, blooming later in the season. False Spirea has an excellent fern-like appearance and is tolerant of shade and all soil types, and grows 1' - 1.5' per year. An excellent companion to globe cedars or hostas.

Spirea, "False"
Sorbaria
Also known as Ash Leaf Spirea, it has a very fern-like appearance with white plumed flowers blooming later in the season, and is extremely resilient. Will spread by sending out suckers, and its growth rate is 1 - 1.5' per year. It produces 5-8" white panicles (flower clusters) in July, and tolerates a wide range of conditions. Very useful for a texture appearance in a shrub bed.

•Tolerant of shade and all soil types.
•It may need some spring tip pruning for rejuvenation; the flower clusters may be pruned of as they go to seed

Spiraea x bumalda 'Flaming Mound'
The shrub starts with flaming red leaves in spring which change to yellow/red for the summer and finally red for fall. It is covered with bright pink flowers for summer and fall. Growth rate is 6-10” per year.
